Some of you may know this, some of you may not.
I am part of a "business" called Little Lambs Birth Services.
This group is made up of two doulas and then me, and technically my husband, the childbirth educators.
My hubby and I teach prenatal/childbirth education classes.
It is SO much fun.
We teach about natural childbirth in a seven week series that includes topics like healthy and peaceful pregnancy, stages of labor, relaxation techniques, and breastfeeding. I love that my husband teaches it with me and I know our students do too.
We use a combination of curricula including The Bradley Method, Brio Birth, and some other methods and resources I've found in my research. We are not "technically" certified (yet?) because certification is extremely expensive and we just can't afford it right now. But, we have many resources and a good understanding of all of the material and we enjoy passing the information on to others. :)
