One Year of Parenting

Well, we did it!
We've been parents for a year now!
We were reflecting last night after the day was done about how it seems like he's always been here.
We are so blessed to have Burkley for a son.

I have learned so much this past year.
I have learned to be silly and have fun.
I have learned that certain topics create much drama in mom-circles.
I have learned that some days all I want to do is stay home and snuggle and play with my Booger Bear.
Other days, all I want is to GET OUT and interact with adults!

Above all, I am so grateful that we are blessed enough for me to stay home with my son.
I wouldn't trade getting to stay home full-time with him for ANYTHING.
I know some people do not have this luxury, so for it I am truly, truly thankful.
I do not take it for granted, nor do I take it lightly.

I will blog more later about his party, because I know I will have to share how delightfully fun and cute it was, but it's tomorrow, and today, I have to bake. So, off I go.
