Baby-led Weaning Episode 3

Burkley is really loving all sorts of food.
It's so fun to watch him grow in his hand-eye coordination and his ability to pass the food back and forth between his two hands. He eats everything he's offered, and so far only made an icky face at baked beans! I thought he'd like the sweetness, but I guess not. We'll try them again someday though! He also made a face with applesauce, but then proceeded to eat it just fine.

 Oh, and on the edge of his tray there is a tomato wedge- he likes to suck on those.

Our little man is turning into quite the foodie! It's a lot of fun, a lot of mess, but I know he's learning so much and he's really enjoying himself. We're trying to work on sign language so he doesn't get too frustrated when he wants more food, but it's early yet. We will continue modeling it for him though, in hopes that one day he'll use it- maybe in a few more months!
