Holiday Happenings: Part One

It was a busy holiday season this year, but of course, loads of fun.
We celebrated Christmas three different times and then had a quiet, yet fun New Year's.
I'm going to share what we did in three posts.

First, Christmas Eve:

We spend Christmas Even with my in-laws. Typically, we go to church, eat dinner, open packages, and have a gingerbread house contest! It's always great fun.

It always amazes how many presents there are. We do have a pretty big family, but still...

A bad picture, but the only one I have that really shows how cute his outfit was.

Each year at my in-law's, we have a different "theme" for Chrismas dinner. This year it was a pasta bar. Guess which kind Burkley chose?

My new little nephew, comfy in the sling. My sister-in-law pretty much kept him in there the whole time. No pass-the-baby going on here! :)

Okay, ONE person got to hold him...
A cute comparison of my mother-in-law (known as "Beeky" to the grandkids [long story]) and one of my nieces who just loves babies.

Family pic- notice how exhausted Burkley is.
Cousins! (Minus the little guy still in his mama's sling)

My youngest niece and Burkley are buds. She decided to dress him up "as a king." :)

He looks thrilled, doesn't he? ;)

My brother comes over every year to judge. He even made a rubric!
The house my sis-in-law and I made

The winning house! Made by my hubby and his one of his sisters.

Zonked out after a long, fun, festive evening!
