C ~ 20 months

Whew-eee!!!!!

It's been so long since I last blogged.
Again, the reason for this is that my life is crazy and I am still stumped as to how or why anyone ever has more than two children. ;)

BUT. Here I am. Attempting to chronicle some bits of our life (C's life) for later reflection.

Cadriel is now 20 months old. Well, give or take a day. ;)
This past month has been a whirlwind of milestones for this little baby-turning-boy.
He has gone from saying about 4 words to saying almost 30. (And I was worried for so long that he wasn't talking!).
He loves playing with his brother.
He loves building Legos (just like big brother).
He is the world's pickiest toddler and I am beyond stumped on what/how to feed him since big bro eats everything and anything put in front of him. He would live on dairy products if he could, but alas, he cannot.

What? Don't you stand like that to eat cereal?

He has come to LOVE books and will bring you one after another for you to read to him all day long.

He loves building LEGOS next to Burkley and usually makes spaceships and promptly zooms them through the air when finished.

He also loves making art projects and coloring. He would color all day if I let him. Markers only, no crayons, please. He also loves (prefers?) to watch me color, so will happily take lids off of markers and hand them to me and demand that I color for waaaaaay longer than I want to quite often. Did I mention I'm not much of a color-er?

This is C celebrating one week of full-time 24/7 undies with ZERO misses!!! We love EC!!!!!! He is telling us when he needs to go to the bathroom and often trying to take himself, but he can't do the pants quite yet. Sometime soon I will have to do a blog post chronicling our EC journey with this one. ;)

One week of no misses!

Cadriel certainly keeps us on our toes and is a delightful little stinker. He unabashedly hands out kisses and hugs, loves his "na" (to nurse) and will do many things if bribed with that (ha, sometimes I have to use it to my advantage!), loves playing fetch with Kedzie, insists on doing pretty much everything by himself -- from putting the toothpaste on his brush to picking out his own spoon/fork from the drawer to cleaning up his toys or turning off the lights--, and is constantly asking, "Oh, what is THIS!?" (in one long mushed together word) about everything. He warms my heart with his silly smile and I'm so thankful he is ours.

Life with two boys continues to challenge me in many many ways emotionally. That is also part of why I've been off the ole' blog for awhile. I'd be happy to accept any words of encouragement you have to offer. :) I hope though to get back into it as I really do miss my blogging community!
