With Mother's Day being about a week ago now, I realized I wanted to blog about it. It was such a nice day!
I got to sleep in, which was wonderful! I mean, I still had to get up and get ready to teach Sunday School, but, I got to sleep in a bit! The best part was that I didn't have to make breakfast for anyone! Marcus made blueberry muffins (our favorite recipe is this one) and scrambled eggs.
After church we went to lunch with Marcus's family. It's kind of hard to go out to lunch with a bazillion family members, but either way, it was nice to go out and not have to prepare a meal for my own family. :)
Then after some naps at home, we just hung out and relaxed and lounged around. A big storm blew in that night, so we went on a little walk while waiting for it to hit and we got sprinkled on and enjoyed a rainbow.
B was so sweet all day and I was so thankful for an enjoyable, relaxing day. The next day B kept telling me he loved me and that it was Mother's Day. Far be it from me to tell him otherwise. ;)
