Some years I do, some years I don't.
I used to have the third graders I taught make resolutions and then the first of every subsequent month of the school year I'd bring out their resolutions to have them evaluate themselves. Perhaps we all should be that diligent on checking up on our goals.
If only life had a lesson plan book, perhaps I would remember.
Maybe I should put it on my calendar.
This year, my husband and I made goals together. They mostly involve really being diligent about spending time in God's Word, prayer, and devoting time to our family. We have planned to continue (a little more seriously) our weekly date nights and also to be more open and honest with each other. We made some financial and home-project goals, as we always do. We'll see where God takes us this year.
Overall, we just hope to live life more intentionally.
