Well, we made it! One year of having two children under our belts! The experts agree (those would be my friends of more than two children) that it's supposed to get easier from here on out! Whew, I hope so.
This little bundle of awesomeness is now one. I can't believe it! He's so stinkin' fantastic, even if he is exhausting!
His favorite things include dropping any item and yelling, "Uh!" ("uh-oh"- official first word!), giving hugs, kisses, and "nosy-nosies" (rubbing noses together), climbing stairs, climbing furniture, playing with his brother, and eating blueberries. He also loves eating with utensils and drinking from cups, like a big boy, of course.
He actually started to express a desire to nurse lately, which makes me happy, since he's never really seemed to love it. He's great at going "feet-first" down steps, off of furniture, etc., which is adorable.
He's been teething terribly lately, getting little sleep. He also suddenly hates his carseat. We are starting to gently wean from the pacifier-- only using it to fall asleep, and then taking it out. We'll see how that goes. Trying to not bring with me at all when out and about anymore either. It's a hard habit for me to break, but so far he's been fine this week without it.
So many changes and adjustments have happened for us all this year! There's much more to say, but I'm exhausted! More later...and pics from his party to come as well. :)
