Meeting Milestones
Do not be fooled. That picture is not of a smile. It's just one of the many funny faces he makes while hanging out each day.
Now, I do NOT want to be one of those parents who obsesses over every little milestone, and so far I would not say that I am. Plus, we have the preemie factor working against us with the reality that he might not do everything he's supposed to do when he's supposed to do it. But darnit, I really want to see my little guy SMILE!!! I know it will come someday, and until then, I will wait patiently, enjoying him completely!
What milestones did you feel you had to wait a long time for your baby to reach?

Willson didn't talk until he was two. He pointed, he grunted, but no words.I was beginning to think something was really wrong--after all, he'd walked when he was 6 months, why wouldn't he talk? Then not long after he turned two, out of the blue, he was standing at the balcony door of our 2nd floor apartment, and he pointed out the window and said, "What's that?" And then he wouldn't shut up, and it was complete sentences, contractions, the works. 17 years later, he still won't shut up. :-) Love you, Adrienne! You and Marcus are doing great.
